Resumen
AJARI, Norman. Frantz Fanon: Fighting Against Dehumanization, Demolishing Bio-Power. Estud. filos. práct. hist. ideas [online]. 2011, vol.13, n.2, pp.53-60. ISSN 1851-9490.
In this essay we approach Franz Fanon's work from a biopolitical standpoint as initiated by Michel Foucault. We analyze the processes that lead to the notion of colonized people's life as less than human with a "language of pure violence", that is, within a network of violent powers at the same time sovereign and totalizing. Fanón intends to check that permanent "state of emergency" of the colonies by means of violence itself, since fighting can be transformed from violence alone to the fight for the discovery of truth.
