In this paper we present the analysis of four contexts of archaeological rescues carried out in the northern sector of the Lerma Valley (Salta), and that correspond to adult burial events in large vessels. This type of burial was common during the Late Period and the Inca Period. The rescues were carried out by personnel from the Salta Museum of Anthropology. The integration between the field data and the laboratory processing of the materials allowed the generation of new information on the funerary practices of burial of adults from the various materials that made up the mortuary accompaniment and the human skeletal remains.
