This paper analyzes the representations of teachers from the different regions of Argentina about the policy measure of return to educational face-to-face attendance in 2021, and the debates and tensions on the educational scenario that appear from the perspective of teachers. We analyzed 15 interviews with teachers from different regions of the country. Although teachers express opinions of agreement and disagreement in this regard, it is not easy to categorize them in one of these two planes, since their opinions are crossed by contradictions, ambivalences and contrasts. On the other hand, the opinions of teachers about the political measure are linked to the debates and tensions about the return to face-to-face, and for the political-party scenario and public opinion on the valorization of teaching work in a pandemic.
