Dans cet article, nous expliquons comment le niveau supraunitaire de la matrice de données intervient dans la formulation de la situation problématique d'une enquête (Samaja, 1993), créant ce que nous pourrions désigner comme une proto-hypothèse voilée, encadrée dans la textualité de ladite situation. Cela permet d'objectiver l'hypothèse abductive (Peirce, 1970) qui permet l'écriture de l'hypothèse finale.
