GONCALVES BORGES, Ruth Carolina. Psychological conflicts in childhood and fairy tales: the fairy tales as an intervention resource in the clinical practice. Subj. procesos cogn. [online]. 2015, vol.19, n.1, pp.131-148. ISSN 1852-7310.
The article presents the summary of a PhD thesis project whose research subject refers to the influences that tales have on the psyche of the child, taking into account its therapeutic aspect linked to the psychic conflicts derived from the non-pathological processes of development and maturation. The objective of the study is to describe the evolution of childhood conflicts through five tales created by the author, representing conflicts: separation, fears, Oedipal complex, dependence-independence and aggressiveness, from the psychoanalytic theory standpoint. The article establishes correlations between psychoanalysis, fairy tales, and projective techniques. The articulation begins with Freud, passes through the conceptual framework proposed as a research base, through the therapeutic traits of the tales and ends introducing the childhood tales technique.
