Resumen

SNEIDERMAN, Susana; GOMEZ DOLZER, Josefina; MARINELLI, Cecilia  y  PIA MARQUEZ, María. The manifestation of helplessness by means of graphic techniques. Subj. procesos cogn. [online]. 2015, vol.19, n.1, pp.246-265. ISSN 1852-7310.

This paper presents part of a research "Graphic projective techniques. Contributions to an interpretative update from the psychoanalytic theory standpoint, with special reference to pathologies of helplessness", undertaken by the "Assessment and psychological exploration II" professors, directed by Dr. Susana Sneiderman, at Universidad del Salvador, during 2013 and 2014. The objective is to analyze the observable indicators in the graphic expressions manifested by individuals who were part of a non-clinical sample which presented however personality traits corresponding to intra-somatic libido. The so-called pathologies of helplessness, traumatic pathologies, psychosomatic patterns, addictions, traumatophilias, obesity, anorexia, etc. find their point of fixation in the intra-somatic libido and have some features in common. We will observe if the central defense, foreclosure of the affect is present. We will also explore its complementary defenses: dissociation, intellectualization, organic introjection, incorporation, adhesive identification and self-calming procedures.

Palabras clave : Graphic Techniques; Intra-somatic libido; Helplessness pathologies.
