CORONA, Néstor Ángel. La lectura ricoeuriana de Freud sobre la cuestión del sujeto. Rev. latinoam. filos. [online]. 2006, vol.32, n.2, pp.239-271. ISSN 1852-7353.
ABSTRACT: This paper deals with the following topics of Ricoeur´s thought about Freud: 1) the impossibility to determine a subject, following Freud´s conceptualization of consciousness, unconsciousness, Id, Ego and Superego; 2) the non-existence of a constituing transparent Ego; and hence, the existence of cogito in the being, all of which is evidenced by the primarily affective -and ultimately energetic-organic- nature of pulsion; 3) narcissism as a factor that impairs the reflexive progress from an hypothetical subject to the multipulsional -and even organic- sphere that renders such subject a "provisional" derivative; and thus, the positive assessment of the awareness of narcissism as a false cogito that, when subjected to criticism, allows to remove the subject from the centre of any occurrence; 4) the possibility to think, together with Freud and Hegel, to a certain extent, a subject "made of" life and desire, both of which must be subjected to and exceeded by a novelty creating dinamism -spirit-, 5) following and interpreting Ricoeur´s thinking, it is possible to say that the religious experience, while living within the symbol, challenges the overall transparency of the subject-object of the Hegelian thinking, and creates the possibility of constituing the human subject in response to the totally Other´s call.
