The aim of this article is to understand the formation of political subjectivities through the various forms of resistance that workers develop from their subordinate position. A qualitative study was conducted focusing on the case of forestry workers of the forest-cellulose complex in Uruguay. The analysis of resistance aimed to reclaim the agency of individuals. To achieve this, practices of opposition to domination were recognized, as well as the various actions (such as passivity, questioning or contesting) from which the subjects construct meanings that forge their subaltern character.
