Resumen
MIGUEZ, María Cecilia. El canciller argentino Miguel Ángel Zavala Ortiz y la revisión del principio de no intervención en la Argentina de la década de 1960. Rev. hist. derecho [online]. 2015, n.50. ISSN 1853-1784.
This article develops the reformulation of the non-intervention principle realized by Miguel Ángel Zavala Ortiz, in the period of intensification of the Cold War. Specially, he studies how this reformulation was used as a justification for some of the positions adopted by Argentina during Arturo Illia's goverment. For example, in the cases of the sanctions to Cuba requested by Venezuela in 1964, and the American invasion to Santo Domingo in 1965. Also, the arguments allowed the ruling party to take forward a dual politics that tried to harmonize the historical flags of the yrigoyenismo, with the intention of Zavala Ortiz of approaching the United States.
