Nowadays, we attend to the permanent transformation of the world with an intensity experienced never before. The development of science and technology is at its finest in our time. It is in this environment where professions must act, not only adapting themselves but being ahead of these changing scenarios. This publication aims to provide an interdisciplinary glance at different issues of design and communication, from the marketing, business and administration view, so as to provide theories, models, tools and vocabulary from other disciplines, for the benefit of morecomprehensive solutions to the challenges of the globalized world. The exponential growth of knowledge becomes increasingly difficult for a single person, even a specialist, to encompass the complexity of current problems. Working in interdisciplinary teams is a competition should be developed for all professionals, but especially those whose problems overlaps with several fields. Such is the case of graduates in Design and Communication. It is in this sense in which our contribution is focused.
