The career of Víctor Iturralde (1927-2004) is nowadays recognized in Argentina in fields as diverse as Film Studies, Cineclubism, Experimental Animation, Communication Research, Children’s Literature or Cultural Management oriented to children. His work is a fundamental link in the development and transmission of artistic, cultural and intellectual traditions generally located on the margins of (or in opposition to) traditional institutions and mass media.
