In this paper we analyze collective artistic practices that, after the flood suffered by the city of La Plata -Buenos Aires, Argentina- on April 2, 2013, produced memory marks in the public space. From multiple types of materialities, these artistic proposals reflected the catastrophe. We will see the characteristics of the aesthetic choices, the disputes surrounding the location and the type of generated representations will be analyzed, as well as the struggles for the construction of a collective memory that still remains valid four years later.
