Chocó is a Colombian department that has lived in the middle of a deep humanitarian crisis. In his capital, Quibdó, a group of young people create the program “Alza tu voz”, from there the music group “Alianza Urbana” was born. The present text seeks to expose the way in which this artistic and pedagogical strategy constituted by this group, from the perspective of communication and development for social change, is able to generate alternatives of life in a territory in the which young people seem to be stagnating in time, resisting situations of the past with contemporary rhythms.
