The following work takes up the history of Argentine dandism to understand the relationship between the world of fashion and the construction of the identity of the ruling class. Perceiving the construction of masculinity before mass society. This study space is built from an interdisciplinary perspective in which anthropology, history, geography and sociology come together to understand the complexity of dress as “contextual and social body practice” (Entwistle: 2002).
