In the province of Santa Fe, public works are understood as a material base and necessary condition for building the future, for social, territorial and regional cohesion, and to assist access to education, justice, health and culture. Under this conception, architecture acquires a predominantly social dimension and new buildings are designed as spaces that will promote citizen participation and dialogue. The generation of public space is a process of participation, creativity, memory and recognition of territory, as the resulting physical rebalancing it provokes, serves people in their daily lives and, from there, contributes to the achievement of equal opportunities. The challenge is to play down differences and design and build infrastructure and social and physical amenities to promote for social diversity, reassessing and recreating the buildings where citizens spend their daily lives: schools, hospitals, health centers, courts, cultural centers and many others.
