Estudios Socioterritoriales (Socio-Territorial Studies) was first published in the year 2000. Little more than fourteen years since that moment, the magazine has consolidated as a tool of communication and promotion in the area of national geographic production. We shall go over the history of this publication in order to identify the main thematic lines it has reflected, the possible absences, the work of researchers and research teams whose career might be tracked in a way through this Magazine. We shall recognize the traces of some features of the geographic production of this stage and we shall identify to what extent milestones or moments of national history might be recovered from its reading. This initial approach generates an inclination to conduct thorough research on this and other publications, meetings, events, so as to contribute to the reconstruction of the field of the recent and current Geography in our country.
