The article analyzes the memories of revolutionary militancy and violence of a group of young people from the Catholic University Youth in Bahía Blanca among the past years of 1968 and 1975. In this sense, it tries to reflect upon the following questions: How do they remember and value, from the present moment, and in the light of the defeat of their political project, the revolutionary militancy and the options for the army way? Is it possible to recognize different and even contradictory points of view about a common past? Which conflicts of interpretation do crystallize? On the other hand, in what way the analyzed testimonies account for the individual and group identity of the ex members of the Catholic University Youth of Bahía Blanca, as well as the tensions among these identities? For this approach, oral sources were used, that were developed by means of semistructured interviews, between March 2008 and June 2010. Fourteen testimonies of people with different family background trajectories were analyzed, in addition to the period of participation in the Catholic University Youth, the types and spaces of militancy, ideological-political options, the journeys accomplished from the beginning of the repressive violence, the following professional, political, ecclesiastical itineraries, and the actual relationship with the Catholic world.
