Resumen

GINIGER, Nuria. Social Doctrine of the Church and Social Responsibility: ethics and politics of Neoliberalism. Soc. relig. [online]. 2014, vol.24, n.42, pp.34-66. ISSN 1853-7081.

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is a corporate tool, especially designed to build a specific image of the companies, which is part of the configuration of consensus about the Companies and their praxis. However, the philosophical foundations of this tool are based, in a version of CSR, in the Social Doctrine of the Church. These foundations are linked to some ideological and philosophical support of Neoliberalism. In this article we approach the relationship between CSR and Social Doctrine of the Church through the notes and writings published by the Journal of the Christian Association of Business Executives, from Argentina.

Palabras clave : Corporate Social Responsibility; Social Doctrine of the Church; Neoliberalism.
