MIRANDA TURNES, Chiara. Análisis de las identidades narrativo-discursivas de Carnavalé y Más Carnaval. Intersecc. comun. (En línea) [online]. 2023, vol.1, n.17, pp.6-6. ISSN 2250-4184. http://dx.doi.org/https://doi.org/10.51385/ic.v1i17.177.
This article proposes an approach to Carnvalé and Más Carnaval, two experiences of the Uruguayan alternative carnival recently created and strongly connected. These two cultural projects are presented as alternatives to the circuit organized around the official carnival contest by state and private institutions. The shared elements and tensions between these experiences, in their still recent development, creates the potential for analysis and reflection from the contrast of both projects. The analysis of these experiences focuses on their narrative/discursive identities, from a theoretical approach that articulates the ideas of Hall (2003), Arfuch (2005) and Casullo (2022). The approach to these narrative/discursive identities is carried out through the analysis of their communication strategies, specifically, of the pieces from which both projects are presented on their social networks. For this, the dimensions of the communication processes proposed by Restrepo (1995) and the idea of publics of the organizations proposed by Amado Suárez and Castro Zuñeda (1990) are incorporated.
