In this article I focus on the way in which graduates of the «Colegio de Malvinas», a group in principie resistant to any type of consensus and perhaps more heterogeneous than at other times of the institution -in terms of family origin, in particular, the ideologicalpoliticalposition and the parents'profession-managed to build certain types of agreement. In the firstplace, an agreement regarding the place assigned to the war event and its products in their school history: ««a watershed between two times». Secondly, an agreement regarding the way in which these former students created or activated the resources that allowed them to rebuild networks of socialization, unionism and trust that had been very strong until 1974 and were dismantled by the military dictatorship; an experience that taught them early and for life to deal with the complexity of social life and national history.
