Resumen

LUCIFORA, María Clara. "Palabra encendida": Góngora as the Precursor of Cernuda. CELEHIS [online]. 2014, n.27, pp.103-117. ISSN 2313-9463.

Luis Cernuda, poet of the so-called "generation of 27", recovers in his work the name of Luis de Góngora y Argote, not to continue his style and technique, but rather to find a figure with which find an identification in two ways: as a poet exalted but marginalized by society and literary environment; and at the same time, as "test case" to sustain his self-defense against attacks and contempt that he receives from his literary field. Cernuda joins Gongora to the list of the artists rejected by their time (as also joins himself) and he sees in the Cordovan poet a possible future desired for himself: to be recognized as a great poet, even three centuries after his death.

Palabras clave : Cernuda; Góngora; tribute; identification; attitude in life.
