In Argentina, from 1959 to 1986, Abelardo Castillo publishedthreeliterature and culture magazines: El grillo de papel (1959-1960), El escarabajo de oro (1961-1974) and El ornitorrinco (1977-1986). We propose to focus on an interpretive reading of the articles on Latin America as three thematic nuclei: 1) as a socio-political-cultural problem: “Che” Guevara, 2) as a problem in criticism: boom and post-boom and 3) as a problem in the literary field: José MaríaArguedas, Juan Rulfo. Thus, Latin American presence will be studied in the three series.
