Resumen

LINCK, Thierry. Los Siales entre apropiación y despojo territorial: hay que darle rumbo al enfoque. Pampa [online]. 2010, n.6, pp.9-25. ISSN 2314-0208.

When concepts do not link to paradigms which are not structured enough, they tend to be subject to semantic changes. That is what happens in the problematic field of territorial development, of the rural-urban relations, of the notions of local democracy, participation, empowerment, citizenship and solidarity. The lack of rigor which the neoinstitutionlist approaches tend to share and the verbosity of the multinational organizations, have their origin in the poor line of arguments and in simplifications which are not innocent at all. These are clear defficiences in reference to the relations between economy and society and, more specifically, between chains and territories. We will show that this field of research, SIAL (Local Food Systems) approaches’s favourite field, cannot disregard neither an exam of the relations between the technical change and the social dynamics nor avoid, accordingly, supporting an interdisciplinary approach. The postulate question about the neutrality of the technical change and the necessary breaking of disciplinary frontiers call for a debate about the collective appropriation devices, the commoditization of farming products, the dissociative logic which the Market Empire implies and about the patrimonial deconstruction processes. Beyond the territorial recomposition and its illustration by qualification processes under geographical indication, our thought tends to structure a much vaster debate about the field of the appropriation of intangible and biotic resources and of the restoration of the link between economy and politics.

Palabras clave : Territory; Chains; Local nourishing systems; Collective appropriation; Patrimonies and patrimonialization.
