Based on the transformations in the national productive structure, this article develops a descriptive analysis of the internal differentiation process of agricultural companies in contemporary Uruguay and its connection with the consolidation of the agribusiness model. The methodological approach of this research is based on semi-structured interviews carried out between 2018 and 2019 with entrepreneurs and managers of operating agricultural companies in Uruguay. The results obtained in this research highlight the internal diversity of agricultural companies in Uruguay.
