The objective of this article is to present some significant dimensions in the gestation of cooperative and collective enterprises of the social and solidarity economy in processes of demanicomialization and / or psychiatric reforms. In particular the contributions and challenges of these proposals in the transformation of the social imaginary of madness that places those who have had or have a history in relation to madness, as people who are unable to work and to govern their own lives and to whom no, like those that have to generate guardianship and sheltered work practices. It is intended to contribute to the production of meaning in self-managed processes that seek to create a break on two levels: with the logic of capital and with the madhouse logic. Based on the Uruguayan experience, we propose the composition of work, reception and life undertakings.
