The aim of this summary is to present the process and results of the thesis dissertation entitled "The Political Economy of Subnational External Management in the Central Region, Argentina: 2004 - 2019" presented in June 2022. This research is framed within the literature on paradiplomacy and transnational management of intermediate governments, but it uses the conceptual tools of international political economy to ran explanation for the concerted strategy of territorial internationalization. The analysis is based on three cornerstones which provide an explanation for the transnational linkage strategy: the configuration of interests and institutions at the regional level, the relationship with the central government, and the international context..
