Resumen

VERCELLI, Natalia; SCARAMUZZINO, Rosa  y  GOYENETCHE, Juan. First record of the alien species Bellis perennis (Asteraceae, Astereae) in Buenos Aires province, center of Argentina. Lilloa [online]. 2022, vol.59, n.2, pp.319-330. ISSN 0075-9481.  http://dx.doi.org/https://doi.org/10.30550/j.lil/2022.59.2/2022.12.05.

Bellis perennis (Asteraceae, Astereae), a species of ornamental use and weed of agri- cultural crops, is naturalized in different parts of the world. Until now, in Argentina it had only been recorded in the extreme south, in the Patagonian provinces of Chubut and Tierra del Fuego e Islas del Atlántico sur, including the Islas Malvinas. The presence of this exotic species is reported in Buenos Aires province, specifically in Azul and Olavarría districts, constituting the first record for central Argentina in its Pampean area. B. perennis is described, illustrated with photographs, and new observations regarding its distribution and habitat are presented.

Palabras clave : Bellis; invasive species; naturalization; Pampean area.
