This work attempts to be an essay of approximation to the philosophical work of Mario Presas. His main interest lies in reconstructing the original aesthetics of the reception of this Argentine thinker, understood in phenomenological, hermeneutic and even existential terms. We cover the period from the mid-1970s to the early 2000s. In a first section, we aim to find the key to his very idea of philosophizing, as this is evident in his comments by Edmund Husserl and Martin Heidegger. In a second section, we deal with his theory of the act of reading, covering the journey from Roman Ingarden to Paul Ricoeur.
