ZIMMERMANN, Clara. Intuition and Creative Emotion in Henri Bergson. Bol. estét. [online]. 2022, n.58, pp.21-30. ISSN 2408-4417. http://dx.doi.org/10.36446/be.2022.58.258.
Through the analysis of the various reflections on aesthetics present in Henri Bergson’s work, this paper aims to demonstrate to what extent the concept of intuition extends, within the framework of a reflection on art, the theory of disinterest in aesthetic experience. Although Bergson does not specifically dedicate any book to aesthetics, beyond the lectures published posthumously, through his work it is possible to identify, on the one hand, a theory of reception (or of aesthetic effect), and on the other, a theory of artistic creation (a poietic). Likewise, we examine to what extent these two aspects of his theory are combined with each other to account for the cognitive aspect of art and aesthetics.
