OJEDA, Verónica Beatriz y SALANDRO, Luciana Lourdes. Teaching assistants in the english teacher education program: student affiliation and teacher training practice. Prax. educ. [online]. 2018, vol.22, n.1, pp.73-81. ISSN 0328-9702. http://dx.doi.org/10.19137/praxiseducativa-2018-220107.
In the last decade, there has been a considerable increase in the number of student assistants who participate in different subjects offering peerassessment and guidance among the students at the Teacher Education Program at the UNMDP. Therefore, we are interested in interpreting the student assistant participation as a powerful learning experience from the student perspective. This research project is focused on two main aspects. The first one is the affiliation processes that student-assistants go through; and the second one is the concept of practice. Through interviews in focus groups to all the student-assistants who participated in this experience in 2015, we intend to understand the reciprocal fashion in which these practices influence both students in general and student-assistant themselves.
