Resumen

BERMUDEZ, Nicolás. El populismo como blanco de discursos de odio. Intersecc. comun. (En línea) [online]. 2024, vol.1, n.18, pp.6-. ISSN 2250-4184.  http://dx.doi.org/https://doi.org/10.51385/ic.v1i18.200.

The topic of this article is hate speech directed at “populism”, a topic that we address based on a case study: the X (Twitter) account of the group Revolución Federal. The text communicates the results of a first exploratory phase of research, which in particular attempted to observe the functioning of political hate speech. And, from here, he sought to reflect on the notion of hate speech. The question seems relevant to us for several reasons. In principle, due to the prominence that the term has acquired in the local public sphere, to characterize situations of political violence. The qualitative research was developed mainly within the disciplinary framework of socio-semiotics.

Palabras clave : hate speech; Federal Revolution; populism; political discourse; socioemiotics.
