This article explore the experience of Physical Education students with Statistics applied to Physical Education. For that aim, some tools from other studies that explore some attitudes, abstractions and emotional issues from people that study social sciences or humanities were taken. For the analysis the proposal is to take three dimensions: behavioral, attitudinal, and emotional to tackle the emerging field work process in its complexity. The fieldwork consisted in non-structural interviews to Physical Education students, that took the course Statistics applied to Physical Education between 2017 and 2020. Informal records about verbal and non-verbal expressions from the students facing to statistics activities have also been used. The main results show some student´s apprehension to statistics, based on discourses in circulation between the students about the subject, related specifically to the difficult that math operations has, and that they are necessary to deal with statistics contents. However I could also identified some satisfactory reactions not just related to the correct learning of the contents but because Statistics is identified as a difficult subject between social sciences and humanities students. In that order, students of Physical education are studying a difficult subject and that is a reason to them to rank.
