This article presents a brief overview of the main arguments around the technical and practical curricular approaches, with the aim of moving toward a discussion that questions the relationship between the curriculum and the education of bodies. Secondly, it sets out to introduce a political dimension in the teaching of physical activities in the field of Physical Education, based on a number of categories taken from the critical theories of the curriculum, and with the practical social purpose of contesting dominant meanings.
