As result of recent studies of South American Agavaceae, the Colombian species Agave cundinamarcensis A. Berger and Agave wallisii Jacobi, are rediscovered and neotypified and their redescriptions are presented. Based on UICN criteria, A. cundinamarcensis is categorized as “endangered species” (EN), while A. wallisii as “critically endangered” (CR). Agavaceae
