The left part of the module category of an artin algebra consists of all indecomposables whose predecessors have projective dimension at most one. In this paper, we study the Auslander-Reiten components of (and of its left support ) which intersect and also the class of the indecomposable Ext-injectives in the addditive subcategory add generated by .
