From “A personal journey. Reflections and proposals forty years after the Malvinas war”, the author of this article takes one of the many points raised in Federico Lorenz's text to go deeper into one aspect: is it possible to talk about a Malvinas field? The essay is based on the presentation of theses and antitheses that allow us to recognize some problems and effects of the field, as well as to raise some questions about the best way to sociologically approach the general framework about a set of intellectual productions on Malvinas in general and on the Malvinas War in particular.
