This article aims to reflect on the experience carried out since 2019 (which continues at the time of the publication of this article) regarding a Family Farming and Territorial Transformations workshop at the National University of Santiago del Estero. The analysis focuses on its dynamics, contributions and challenges faced by the global health emergency of covid-19. This space, unique to the university, promotes the construction of knowledge based on practices linked to popular education. Framed in a proposal that enables dialogic relationship between students (producers of family farming, extension technicians, leaders, undergraduate students) teachers and facilitators seek to interact horizontally by recognizing the importance of the other and his knowledge. By putting into play multiple trajectories, of his know-how in the territories they rethink their own reality with the aim of designing actions that improve the quality of life and highlight family farming as a key sector for fairer, more sustainable alternative models. The information presented was obtained from systematizations of the meetings, management reports, field records and audiovisual files (videos and podcasts) produced by the team of facilitators.
