This article presents advances in postdoctoral research (2020-2023), about processes and experiences in technical secondary education, which we have been developing from a relational socio-anthropological approach in the province of Jujuy (Argentina). Given the transformations in daily school life introduced by the pandemic and the policies adopted, the following questions arise: How are technical secondary education experiences configured in times of pandemic? How have teachers and students experienced and are experiencing the teaching and learning processes in this context? What meanings do they give to that experience? The empirical information comes from the compilation of regulations and official documents, journalistic sources, statistical reports and institutional documents, as well as the field work carried out in a secondary school of technical-professional modality in the city of San Salvador de Jujuy. In this opportunity we present some advances in the description of the experiences of technical secondary schooling under the “pedagogical continuity” (2020) and the “alternate attendance” (2021), bringing the meanings that the subjects construct without losing sight of their contextual conditions.
