The article seeks to explore the universe of new forms of organization and collective action that are emerging in the context of the 1990s and that tend to consolidate from the new millennium around the figure of family farm. With a case methodological design and theoretically framed in the perspective of collective action studies (mobilization of resources and new social movements), we present the results of an exploratory study on the associative experience of the Unión de Familias Organizadas de la Cuña Boscosa y los Bajos Submeridionales (UOCB) in the north of the Province of Santa Fe (Argentina).
