We analyzed in this paper some of the presuppositions of the pedagogy of appearances and the scientific pedagogy from works of Bachelard (1996; 2001) and some commentators (Pêpe, 1985; Costa, 2012; Fonseca, 2008). Our intention is to abstract such theoretical and bibliographical study some categories that can serve as reference to discuss perspectives on the educational policies and     the educational practices. When analyzing the pedagogy of appearances and the scientific pedagogy in Bachelard's perspective, we believe that it is possible to abstract productive elements to the epistemological studies of educational policies. Thus,    we    understand    that    the    scientific pedagogy Bachelard is placed as a support for such policies to be produced and understood more clearly and thus open up new perspectives for discussion to discuss teaching in its complexity.
