The aim of this work lies, on one hand, in showing an introductory view about different concepts of Multivariate Analysis (MA), and, on the other hand, in providing information about different applications made in the area of Educational Psychology, and Psychometrics. The availability of computer programs, the progress of technology, and the development of the multivariate theory have produced a remarkable growth in the use of methods and statistic models in all the fields of scientific investigation in the last decades. The techniques which make up the MA allow to approach different problems of prediction, classification and segmentation, which are usually present in many areas of knowledge.
