The purpose of this writing is the analysis of the organizational structures inherent in Higher Education Institutions from a specific conceptual framework: complexity. The writing is structured around the delimitation of some tensions that the main nodes of discussion about university organizations discover, always from a complex approach. The objective is to validate arguments from the theory as a vector for anal ysis, so that their reading can produce a kind of heuristic on the subject.
