This article presents the main quantitative evidence that was retrieved to analyze the international mobility of university graduates from Argentina. This trend is framed within a context of internationalization of science, technology and higher education, driven by the politics of scientific and technological development of the countries, strategies to attract human resources from universities, research centers and companies, and private interests of the actors who seeks to study abroad. Based on this scenario, the objective of the study is to analyze the characteristics of argentine participation in global flows of students, as a contribution to the reflection of the impacts of this mobility process on the development of the country. To do this, this article firstly makes a review of the main problems presented by international sources of information for the statistical treatment of the international mobility of students, and later gives place to the approach of the object of study based on the information that was integrated.
