PEGORARO, Vanesa Romina et al. Influencia De La Aplicación De Efluente Porcino Sobre Propiedades Químicas y Biológicas De Un Argiudol Típico (Córdoba, Argentina). Cienc. suelo [online]. 2014, vol.32, n.2, pp.283-289. ISSN 1850-2067.

When the pig slurry (PS) is used for agronomic purposes may cause different impacts on soil properties. The objective of this study was to evaluate the influence of two factors pig slurry application, form: incorporated (I) and surface (S) and rate: 0, 50 and 100 kg N ha-1 in Tipic Argiudol. Particulate organic matter (POM), soil nitrate nitrogen content (N-N03-), soil respiration (R), acid phosphatase (AP), phosphorus bray (P), anaerobic nitrogen (AN), pH, electric conductivity (EC) and the structure and diversity of the ammonia oxidizing bacteria (BOA) were determined 30 days after PS application. The N-N03-increased in 0-20 cm and 40-60 cm depth with the rates of N applied in I, but in S did not change were observed. The form S presented the highest values of R in 0-5 cm. The application rate affected the P in 0-5 cm and EC in 0-5 and 5-20 cm depth. The POM, AP, pH and AN was not modified. The community structure of the BOA responded at forms and rates, while the diversity of the BOA did not change. The pig slurry is a source of N for corps, but must be incorporated to prevent N loss by volatilization, because 98% of N of slurry consist in N-NH4+. However, the incorporation caused a decrease in general biological activity.
