ZORZI, Flavia. Identificación de mayólica holandesa en la Buenos Aires del siglo XVII. Intersecciones antropol. [online]. 2014, vol.15, n.2, pp.479-483. ISSN 1850-373X.
This paper brings to light two pots of a particular type of tin glazed pottery that is uncommon on Argentinean archaeological sites, which we refer to as "White lobed Delft". The macroscopic characteristics of the pots-, which were found in seventeenth-century contexts at the Bolívar 373 site, Buenos Aires city, are described and data for their identification and contextualization provided. It is suggested that the specimens found in Argentina could come from Dutch workshops, and consist of an emulation of the well-known "Bianchi" type produced in Faenza, Italy since the sixteenth century and imitated during the following century in other areas of Europe.
