The work presented here consists of a synthesis of the research carried out around the doctoral thesis “Mathematical Knowledge for the Teaching of analytical geometry. The case of the Mathematics Teacher career of the National University of Rosario” (Argentina). It aims to characterize the configuration of this knowledge throughout the career and consequently suggest some lines of action. It has an eminently qualitative approach and descriptive scope. It is empirical and transversal, with a case study design. The results reveal clues of activation of different domains of Mathematical Knowledge for the Teaching of analytical geometry, highlighting the centrality of some of them. Likewise, it is revealed how, gradually during training, some aspects of this knowledge are strengthened from the intended action.
