This paper presents a research-action study about the interest and activity of students in a blended learning course supported by Blackboard as learning management system from a qualitative and quantitative methodological approach. The objective was to determine the factors that influence the implementation of a blended model and to know the most valued characteristics by students of the course implemented with freshman year of high school in the subject of mathematics. The information was collected through surveys about the availability of electronic resources, internet access, knowledge about the use of technology tools, and the perception of the students about the modality. The results show the perspective of the students about their experience in this modality and expressed the aspects considered the most valuable for an effective implementation of a blended course.
