MENTASTI, Silvina. Teaching in times of pandemic: Reflections to rethink schools in the digital age. Rev. iberoam. tecnol. educ. educ. tecnol. [online]. 2021, n.28, pp.303-309. ISSN 1851-0086.

According to the perspectives of various educators, this crisis context should be understood as an opportunity to rethink the relationship between teaching practices and technologies [1], [2], [3]. However, it is considered that the challenge is greater given that the conceptual foundations of the creation of digital platforms force us to work the relationship with knowledge in a different way than what is taking place because they promote intercreativity [4], They work from collective intelligence [5] and are established on the principle of participation architecture [6]. In this sense, it is essential to rethink the vertical hegemonic model of the teaching-learning processes to give rise to the creation of collaborative curricular developments between students and teachers that promote meaningful learning. However, there is still a strong resistance to abandon encyclopedism and include ICTs beyond its instrumentality. To account for this, this article takes up the final works carried out by teachers in the seminar "Virtual education in secondary school 2020" dictated in the first semester of the year in virtual mode given the emergency context due to COVID-19.

Palavras-chave : Digital technologies; Emergency education; Virtual teaching; Meaningful learning.
