ERANA BONACCHI, Noelia Daniela. How to implement a Mirroring technique for collaborative activities in networked environments. Rev. iberoam. tecnol. educ. educ. tecnol. [online]. 2021, n.30, pp.114-122. ISSN 1851-0086.
This article presents a review of the bibliography compiled about Mirroring and suggests a course of action when implementing it. Firstly, we analysed some aspects to consider when wishing to use a Mirroring technique as a teaching tool in a collaborative activity and its strength as an enabler of Constructive feedback. Then, we contrasted some theory on selecting the right indicators of collaboration following two pillars: individual participation and group interaction. Finally, we examined some theory behind cognitive processes and the best way to present information to trigger meaningful learning. The aim of this article is to encourage and guide the use of Mirroring as a teaching technique. At the beginning of this article, we present some theoretical framework to show the relevance of Mirroring in a collaborative activity mediated by technology. Then, we reflect on the best way of inserting this technique in a project. Moreover, we discuss some theory behind performance indicators for collaborative networks and the way to present the information and data that has been collected. Afterwards, we contrast some presentation formats and their impact in cognitive processes. The conclusion integrates the main features and points at the importance of evaluating the results of the process.
