SLANIS, Alberto C. e PEREA, María C.. Youngia japonica (Asteraceae, Lactuceae), a novelty for the adventitious Flora of Argentina. Bol. Soc. Argent. Bot. [online]. 2011, vol.46, n.1-2, pp.139-143. ISSN 1851-2372.
The presence of Youngia japonica, a weed native of Southeastern Asia, is reported for the first time in Argentina. It was observed as ruderal and invading gardens in Tucumán and Entre Ríos provinces. The arrival of the species to this country is estimated as recent. A description and illustration of the plant are given.
